I finally decided to make this official. I will no longer be posting on DA as a journal site. Since I'd rather be blunt, the reason why is because I don't want anyone reading what I'm posting online anymore. I want a private journal to express my own thoughts without knowing all the eyes that would read it. I've found an excellent journal home just for that, so that's where I am.
That, and DA - the journal aspect, anyway - might as well be the final graveyard for my personal struggle. For me, this is like standing up and saying, "It's over. I'm free." And that's how I feel - I'm ready to leave behind all the bad memories, even the tormentors who brought them up. This isn't a painful goodbye. It's a relief.
I chose the lyrics to reflect that. I'll still use DA for image searching, but nothing more.
Farewell, and to tomorrow.
